My interview with Atmosphere Press

The answer is a little bleak, but I think I started writing out of grief. I needed to express my loneliness in a productive way. Once it began to spill out, it never stopped. Grace, my protagonist, begins in a place where she doesn’t really think she belongs, which is where I was at, at the time.

He is unable to shake her from his thoughts when the encounter is over.

In “The Turned Gods – Book 3,” Grace and Ivan explore a mysterious black hole and encounter an eternal child. As they chase the child deeper into the anomaly, they experience the complexities of space and time. They contemplate the nature of The Nothing and the implications of the phenomena they encounter, raising questions about existence and reality.

Immortals in The Everything – Look Inside

In “The Turned Gods – Book 2”, Grace revisits a familiar place after a year, savoring the quiet before a significant wedding ceremony. Amidst changes in relationships and responsibilities, she reflects on her past, the dynamics with her friends, and the upcoming challenge of transitioning her loved ones to a new world. A surprise possibility complicates her thoughts.

In “The Turned Gods – Book 1”, Grace insists on confronting her past alone, much to Lukkas’s dismay, who fears for her safety. As they prepare for her departure, they discuss plans and share tension regarding their relationship. Lukkas presents details about potential threats, raising concerns while Grace remains resolute in uncovering the truth behind her memory loss.

I was so nervous going into this interview. Having no idea what they would ask was the worst part. Ok, that’s not entirely true – they were certainly planning on asking about my book.

How I stay positive …

The author reflects on their challenging journey as a writer, initially overwhelmed by self-doubt and lack of recognition. A surprising contest win validated their efforts, sparking newfound confidence and leading to more public engagements like a podcast and media festival. Through this, they emphasize the choice to maintain a positive outlook despite obstacles.
