Updates in progress

I’ve been away for a bit working really hard updating my book series. Correcting all my mistakes from self-publishing took a lot longer than I thought and I couldn’t have done it without the help of the very patient people at Publish Pros!

So far I have gotten through all the items below.

New covers –
Publish Pros has exceeded my expectations with my vision.

New interiors –
When I tell you Adobe InDesign is worth the subscription price, it was truly a lifesaver for me. I was able to customize everything the way I wanted, saving me hours of work. I was able to make the look and feel across the entire series consistent in much less time than I thought possible.

Renamed the series –
This was a long time coming. I never meant to write a series – it just seemed to happen. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t a lot of work. It only means my characters had a lot more story to tell after the firs book was finished. The Turned Gods is a much better fit across all of the books and I even though it was terrifying to make the change, I’m glad I did.

Updates to Amazon –
I’ve heard so many horror stories about making changes to books on Amazon, but wasn’t changing my story. Nerves still got the better of me and I put this off for weeks for fear of something being rejected. Maybe it was because I was only changing the formatting and correcting some grammar items, but who knows?

Thank you to everyone who supported me! It’s been a difficult road, and I’ve enjoyed it. Well – most of it, anyway.
