Joyce Serrano

Joyce Serrano is the author of The Turned Gods series, an expansive fantasy world built around immortals, hidden histories, and the complicated bonds that tie them together. What began as a series of vivid recurring dreams grew into a full universe—now three main novels and three companion character books strong, with a fourth companion currently in the works.
Originally from West Virginia and well-traveled over the years, Joyce now lives on a peaceful two-acre property in rural Washington State. Surrounded by trees, quiet, and the occasional stubborn wild animal, she writes the kinds of stories she once searched for but couldn’t find—character-driven, emotional, and deeply rooted in myth and possibility.

When she isn’t writing, Joyce can be found gardening, tackling home improvement projects, or spending time with family. She currently shares her home with her youngest daughter, who insists she’s only one empty nest away from becoming the local hermit.
